Mental Wellbeing

Mental Wellbeing Matters (PDF, 355KB)

A range of new, easily accessible mental health support is now available for patients in Birmingham and Solihull. This support is available to local people of all ages as well as keyworkers.

These services are provided by a range of local organisations, and offer emotional help, guidance and reassurance to people in Birmingham and Solihull.

11-25 year olds in Birmingham and Solihull

Peer to peer support through moderated discussion forums, self-care tools and resources and online mental health counselling and chat services from 12pm to 10pm during the week, and 6pm to 10pm at weekends: www.kooth.com


Mental Heath 11-25 years

Future thinking for Mental Health

This is a FREE online counselling and support service, available to all children and young people in Solihull from 11-25 years of age.

As a service, fully commissioned by Solihull Council, Kooth.com is a free, safe, confidential and non-stigmatised way for young people to receive counselling, advice and support online. Staffed by fully trained and qualified counsellors and available until 10pm each night, 365 days per year, it provides a much needed out of hours' service for advice and support. As GP practice based staff have day-to-day contact with young people, Kooth is an ideal resource available for those who may require mental and emotional wellbeing support.
