Extended Access Appointments
The PCN is responsible for provided Extended Access appointments.
We have access to what is known as 'Extended Access' appointments after 6:30pm on weekdays until 8pm over the telephone, and Saturdays 9am to 5pm (face to face or telephone).
The service is now provided by a team of receptionists & GPs who work for Solihull Rural PCN (Primary Care Network) & are currently staff from Dorridge, Arden, Balsall Common & Hampton Surgeries. From the 6th April, the Saturday service will alternate between Dorridge Surgery & Balsall Common Surgery (starting at Dorridge on the 6th April 2024). You may ask for access to these consultations when you ring, or we may offer them to you, depending on availability.
Wednesday Afternoon
As you are aware we close the surgery on a Wednesday afternoon and from the 1st July 2019 clinical cover for our patients will be provided by Hampton in Arden surgery. If you are in need of medical care between the hours of 1pm to 6pm please call 01675 442510. Please be aware by calling this number that the clinical and reception team will have full access to your medical records.
